The Gold-Giver's Hoard

50 magic items for 2024 fifth edition, ranging from common to legendary.

Example items

Sumpter Bell

Sumpter Bell

As a Utilize action, you can buckle the collar onto a Beast. You become its keeper, and when you buckle the collar, you can name one other creature as its handler. You can change the handler by unbuckling and rebuckling the collar. While you live, only you can unbuckle the collar; anyone else must cut the strap, which ruins the item.

While the Beast wears the collar, it has Advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the Frightened condition, and it refuses to move for any creature except its keeper or handler. Another creature can move it only by dragging or carrying it. While a creature that isn't a Beast, the keeper, or the handler touches the Beast or the collar, the bell rings loudly enough to be heard 300 feet away.

You can use the collar any number of times.

Arming Doublet

Arming Doublet

While you wear the doublet, you need only 1 minute to don or doff any armor you could normally don or doff.

The Steward's Keys

50 magic items for 2024 fifth edition, including tools to track a building's occupants, view rooms, and take wolf form.

Example items

Usher's Rod

Usher's Rod

While you hold the rod, you know whether each creature within 5 feet of you carries a Simple or Martial weapon, hidden or not, and where on its body or in its gear each such weapon is. The rod reveals each weapon's location; its exact kind requires inspection.

You can use the rod any number of times.

Stirrup-Cup

Stirrup-Cup

When a creature riding a mount drinks the cup dry and the cup has a serving left, the rider and the mount it was riding gain this benefit until the next dawn: each can travel for 12 hours before making saving throws for extended travel. Count all travel since the previous dawn toward those hours. After the 12th hour, each must succeed on a Constitution saving throw at the end of every further hour or gain 1 Exhaustion level. The DC still counts from the eighth hour of travel: 10 plus 1 for each hour past 8. Existing Exhaustion levels remain.

Each such completed drink expends one serving, whatever drink was poured into the cup. The cup has eight servings and regains all expended servings at dawn.
